The Scott Addict RC was designed for the competitive cyclist. The frame is light, rigid and aerodynamic. In other words: an allround climbing bike. The shape of the frame in combination with the internal cables provide a better airflow. The light carbon provides a low weight and rigidness to the frame.

Shimano R9270 Dura-Ace 12-speed

Shimano Dura-Ace 12-speed is the lightest groupset by Shimano. The groupset offers great shifting performance for such a lightweight group. Shimano Dura-Ace was designed for the performance-oriented cyclist who wants to keep the weight of his bike as low as possible.

The shifters are ergonomically designed and are easy to handle. The shiftpadels are easy to handle as well, thanks to the different structure, which makes it easy to tell them apart. The shifters were provded with a button cell battery with a lifespan of 1,5 years.

The derailleurs are connected together with a battery. The Junction Box, which used to be found on the frame or in the handle bar, can now be found in the rearderailleur, just as the charging point. This makes sure that less cables are necessary and the ones that are needed, are internal in the frame. Shifting is a lot easier as well thanks to the Hyperglide+ technology.

The hydraulic brakes were also upgraded. The brake calipers offer 10% more space between the brake pads and the brake discs which is why the brakes won't wear as quickly. The heatregulation was upgradede as well, this to prevent heating up during long descents. The ventilation happens through the brake calipers as well.

Generally speaking, we can say that Shimano Dura-Ace is a top-of-the-line groupset for the cyclist who wants to really show the best of himself and his bike.
