Shimano R8170 Ultegra DI2 is an electric groupset, meaning when you shift, it won’t go through a cable, but through Bluetooth from shifters to the derailleurs. This groupset offers the same performances as the Dure-Ace DI2 12 groupset, but at a more affordable price. This is because of the different material that was used. The Ultegra groupset has heavier materials, making the groupset a bit heavier, but it still keeps a great shift performance.
