SHIMANO SD501 CYCLING SHOES

The Shimano SD501 has the benefits of a cycling shoe with SPD pedals and the advantages of a sandal in warm weather. The sandals act just as a cycling shoe does, considering you can remove a plate on the bottom to attach a cleat for your mountainbike instead.

The shoes have a stiffness index of 4.0, making the shoe relatively flexible, although a with fiberglass reinforced heelplate was integrated to optimize the stiffness. The stable rubber outsole makes sure you can both cycle and walk comfortably with these shoes.
