SRAM GROUPSET RED ETAP AXS 12 SPEED

But one things hasn’t changed; we want to push those boundaries. And exploring new limits has never been easier with the new SRAM RED eTap AXS groupset.

Group includes rear derailleur, front derailleur, shift-brake controls, disc brake calipers, rotors, batteries and charger, bottom bracket, cassette and chain.

Technology

• AXS: AXS is SRAM’s new electronic integration platform that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls and get maintenance reminders and update firmware.

• Carbon tuned: Strength and stiffness where you need it, lightweight like you want it. Carbon lay-up design increases thickness and stiffness at critical stress areas.

• DUB: The relationship between bottom bracket spindle and bearing is the core of the DUB technology. It’s where stiffness meets durability. SRAM made everything a bit simpler, better integrating the relationship between chainring, crank, spindle and bottom bracket. The approach to develop a complete system equals better drivetrain performance.

• Flattop: To enable X-Range gearing technology, SRAM developed a narrower chain. The unique shape not only allowed for a wider gear range, but also results a quitter drivetrain operation and increased chain strength and durability.

• Flow Link: The chain inner-plates are completely devoid of square edges which results in a chain that engages the cassettes and chainring with far less friction. This on the other end results in a quitter performance and better wear life.

• XDR: The XDR driver body is a universal mounting system for cassettes that incorporates cogs with fewer than 11 teeth. It allows for lighter and more versatile drivetrains without requiring new rear axle standers, cassette tools or hubs redesigns. The XDR interface is 1.85 mm longer than the XD and is redesigned for road hub applications. XDR driver bodies are compatible with all XD cassettes when the cassette is installed with a 1.85mm spacer.

• X-Range: With X-Range, gearing is designed for wider range, more useful and smoother gear progression, as well as smarter shift setting to ensure you’re always in the right gear.
